A TOUGH TIE FOR WOLVES
With a couple of players missing against a probable full strength Man/Ponte, Wolverhampton have a battle on thier hands.

The start of the second half of the season was always going to be difficult with two players unavailable through holidays and tournaments. Luckily, three of the team were able to leave their flights to the USA until the Wednesday morning otherwise the evening might have been over by 8:30! The Wolverhampton team will be led by Anthony Ricketts, anxious to gain revenge for his defeat at Pontefract in the opening game of the season. Alex Gough at 2 has first shot at James Willstrop following Jame's first appearance in the world top 20, a position that he will probably occupy for many years to come. With Mark Cairns on holiday, Chris Ryder takes on Nick Taylor and Jaymie Haycocks looks to defeat the near impregnable Marcus Berrett. The ladies match pits Shelley Kitchen against the world number 5, Vanessa Atkinson.

Every match looks tough and possibly impossible but on the night strange things can happen so we await the Nothern based team with hope and enthusiasm.

Prediction, not this time, in fact I may make a New Years resolution not to do so in the future, an easy one to keep.
