PSC has been enjoying continued growth and success in both adult and junior
programs, creating the opportunity for the right applicant to head up the
new girls’ coaching program.
The Club is located in picturesque Chestnut Hill near the Wissahicken Park
and is attached to the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, hosting 10
international singles courts in two facilities. The Club has been recently
updated and reorganized, combining school team and individual Club player
coaching.
We are looking to engage a female Assistant Professional to head up the
girls’ program. She will also work closely with the other Pros and
administrators in implementing player coaching, assisting in running teams,
leagues, adult activities and junior tournaments as well as having
administrative responsibilities and Pro Shop activities. A driver’s license
is needed and she must be legally able to work in the USA.
The successful applicant will need to have good organizational skills
including computer use, be self-motivated, able to motivate others,
especially junior girls players, and have great interpersonal skills. She
will need to be a good squash player and able to coach individuals through
long term programs. An enthusiastic, adaptable, energetic and team oriented
persona will fit in well. We are looking for a young player/coach who works
well with junior players, is willing to learn on the job and will fit in
with the current environment.
The position offers a basic monthly wage plus a generous portion of lesson
fees, commensurate with experience. To start around September 1st

About Us
The Broadland Squash Academy caters for all levels of play for adults and
juniors.
We have:

squash sessions

- 5 senior teams in the Norfolk League
- Internal box leagues for both Squash
and Racketball

Broadlands is regularly used to host
Norfolk Squash activity and has its own annual club championships. We also
have a number of Masters players who play here too
Broadland Sports Club is situated in the heart of rural Norfolk, surrounded
by beautiful countryside, yet easily accessible from the A47. Our facilities
include a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool. We also
have squash, racketball, and tennis courts and offer table tennis, darts,
short mat bowls, yoga, pilates, fitness and dance classes. We have personal
trainers and our own hairdressing and health and beauty suite.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be expected to be involved right across the
board, conducting squad and individual lessons with juniors and adults. We
would like to develop our links with local primary and secondary schools,
setting up a programme to work within the schools and feed our squad
sessions here at the club. The club will assist in the running of the
programme allowing you time to conduct and deliver the programme and events
as organised.
We will need you to be a Minimum of UKCC Level 2 qualified, although if you
have the right amount of playing and coaching experience, a willingness to
obtain your Level 2 qualification.
Our aim is to expand the clubs Squash and Racketball membership and with a
squash enthusiastic owner, we are open to all ideas and projects.

INTRODUCTION

position of Head Coach. The Head Coach will work closely with Executive
Director to deliver a whole squash structure, which is capable of producing
international squash players of different age groups. The leader with the
proven track record will be responsible for the design and implementation of
training programs, developing of adjusting of national
team selection criteria, policy development, developing talent
identification strategies and developing training competences for

ABOUT THE NATIONAL SQUASH CENTRE
Unlike in many other countries, National Squash Centre in Russia is a
for-profit, private squash facility aiming development of athletes, coaches
and officials and sets the standards for the Russian Squash Federation. The
National Squash Centre is a brand-new facility with 7 stationary squash
court (with movable wall to play doubles) and one glass show court, located
in Moscow. As a core of a 10,000 sq.m. fitness facility, it shares one roof
with the gym, swimming pool, SPA, multi-purpose game court, and common
areas, i.e. cafeteria, beauty salon, sports shop, bars etc. Right next to

) located in Los Angeles, California, USA is seeking a full-time Squash
Professional/Athletic Department Assistant.
Our Club is a full service facility. We offer squash, (four courts)
handball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, aerobics classes, Yoga,
Pilates, kickboxing, weightlifting equipment, fitness center and more. We
also have four restaurants, 72 hotel rooms and banquet facilities.
The Club's squash program has a strong reputation for high quality
coaching and junior development. We have more than 160 squash-playing
members and expect to reach 200 members in the next two years. We want to
share a vision of growing our program and give our new squash professional
the freedom to make it happen.
The successful candidate must demonstrate superior playing and coaching
ability and be able to train a broad range of players, from elite to
juniors to beginners. The position requires participation in all aspects of
the squash program, including teaching private and group lessons,
administration of in-house leagues, running professional tournaments, and
all other traditional activities of a private club squash program.
Other aspects of the position include administrative duties to include
budget development and fiscal responsibility, athletic department
management responsibilities and general operations and upkeep of the
department.
A college degree preferred, as well as excellent communication and computer
skills. Two to four years management experience is a plus. Must be
flexible to the changing needs of the Club and department. Must be a team
player and have a professional appearance, be a problem solver, organized
and an ability to grow business and provide excellent customer service.
Compensation includes a competitive salary, private lesson and clinic fees
- and commissions on tournament fund-raising. We offer medical and
