All Set For Local Derby
Manchester-Pontefract will be without their top players tonight but still field a strong line up for the local derby

With a play-off spot secured, the news that Lee Beachill was unavailable due to blisters, following his run of matches in the National Championships was not as unwelcome as it could have been.

With Vanessa Atkinson rested, the team will be without its top man and top woman, but should still present tough opposition for Manchester Northern.

Jenny Tranfield will look to avenge her first half defeat at the hands of Madeline Perry, while Andy Whipp will play against the club where he trains and plays local league. Unbeaten Marcus Berrett will look to put a disappointing Nationals behind him against Phil Barker and Nick Taylor will play Lancashire County team mate Peter Billson.

Highlight of the night is likely to be the top string clash featuring Ong Beng Hee and James Willstrop. With Willstrop rested following a tough tournmament schedule over the last two weeks and hopefully recharged and on top form.

Full line up; Beng Hee v Willstrop Billson v Taylor Barker v Berrett Selby v Whipp Tranfield v Perry
