REPORTS
Final Declan v George
Very hard fought, tight and fair, they are good mates... Dec on top
all of first, but then George pulled through to win , tight second
to Dec, easy third to Dec, but then George made it hard in 4th but
Dec pulled through ..
11-13, 11-9, 11-2, 11-8 Declan win
First semi was Declan v Ritchie
Ritchie seemed agitated from the very first point, then a few tough
decisions against him carried it through.. Dec stayed in the zone
and took the match 3-0
11-6,13-11,11-8
Second semi Chris v George
Odd match, looked like a 3-0 George after going 2-0 up, playing hard
and really quite brutal... George then like Ritchie lost his
discipline, Chris softened his pace , then it was 2-2 George
regained his composure and won 5th
11-13, 2-11, 11-2,11-5, 5-11 Parker win
Round 1
Dec v Rooney
12-10, 15-13, 11-8
Rooney was well worth a game .. tight both first two games, but in
the end Rooney was going for tired shots ...
Fallows v Rui
11-7, 11-8, 12-10
High tempo match compared to the first, Rui always behind and
retrieving ... physical game
Adam v Simpson
9-11, 11-7, 11-2, 11-7
Adam competes with no problem , but then fitness creeps in .. tight
games, but for me Adam has the game but not yet quite the fitness
Harry v George
12-10, 11-1,12-10
Tight first game, poor second and then strong in the third ...
fitness not a problem for Falconer but shot selection and a bit of
flair is still missing
