England Squash Celebrates its 75th
in style

England Squash
celebrated its 75th anniversary in style on Wed 10th March. Known as the Squash Rackets Association (SRA) for most of its history and based in London, it returned to its roots for the occasion at the RAC Club in Pall Mall.

The club's Mountbatten room was the venue for several hundred guests, including many legends of the game past and present.

England squash President Mike Corby hosted the gathering, with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh guest of honour as a long-standing patron of the association.

Other guests included Peter Chalk, Peter Nicol, Lisa Opie, Azam Khan, Michael Oddy, Alison Cummings, Nigel Broomfield, Bob Morris, Alex Cowie, John Easter, Sheila Macintosh, Andrew Shelley, Ann Gee, Gawain Briars, Ted Wallbutton, David Pearson, Neil Harvey, Paul Carter, Stuart and Jane Courtney, Phil Ayton, Bob Johnson, Pat Kirton, members of the press and many others.

The occasion was recorded by photographer John Burgess, and high-resolution prints of the photos shown here can be ordered on 01276 61412.
