Pilley & Wee Share Berkshire Spoils
Australia's Cameron Pilley and Malaysian Sharon Wee claimed the titles in the Berkshire Squash Open in Williamstown, Mass, USA .

Pilley, the third seed from New South Wales , made his breakthrough in the semi-finals when he upset second-seeded Canadian Shahier Razik 11-8, 11-6, 11-7 in 55 minutes.

Sixth seed Hisham Mohd Ashour, Pilley's opponent in the final, scored one of the best results of his career in the other semi-final after battling for 53 minutes to beat Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema, the event favourite, 4-11, 11-8, 2-11, 11-6, 11-5.

Pilley sensed victory in the final and beat Ashour 11-9, 11-5, 11-5 to notch up the tenth PSA Tour title of his career.

Sharon Wee reached the women's final without dropping a single game. But her opponent Joshna Chinappa was enjoying one of her best WISPA World Tour runs, upsetting second seed Tricia Chuah in the quarters, then fifth seed Dianne Desira in the semis to claim an unexpected place in the climax as the eighth seed!

The Antwerp-based Wee, however, was too strong for 20-year-old Chinappa, from Chennai in India , winning 9-4, 9-0, 9-4 to earn her second successive WISPA crown, and the sixth of her career.

Pilley Survives Golan Marathon In Berkshire
Australia's Cameron Pilley battled for 63 minutes to overcome Spaniard Borja Golan to reach the semi-finals of the Berkshire Squash Open in Williamstown, Mass, USA .

Pilley, the third seed from New South Wales, survived two tie-breaks to beat fifth seed Golan 11-8, 11-10 (2-0), 5-11, 11-10 (3-1) to earn a clash with Canadian Shahier Razik, the second seed who ended unseeded Englishman Mark Heather's run 11-5, 11-6, 11-6.

Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema cruised into the last four with an 11-1, 11-8, 11-6 win over USA 's Christopher Gordon. The top seed will meet Egypt 's sixth seed Hisham Mohd Ashour for a place in the final.

India's Joshna Chinappa pulled off a significant upset in the quarter-finals of the women's event. The 20-year-old from Chennai, seeded eight, took five games to overcome Malaysia's second seed Tricia Chuah 9-6, 7-9, 10-8, 4-9, 9-1 in 51 minutes to set up a semi-final clash with Dianne Desira, the fifth-seeded Australian who upset Canada's third seed Runa Reta 9-6 9-1 9-2.

Illingworth & Prockop Reach Berkshire Man Draw
US interest in the Berkshire Squash Open will be boosted in both the men's and women's events after success by Julian Illingworth and Hope Prockop in the qualifying finals in Williamstown , Mass.

Illingworth, the US national champion from Yale, beat Australia 's Raj Nanda 11-7, 6-11, 11-9, 11-1 and will now face Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema, the top seed, in the main draw.

Hope Prockop, from Groton, Mass, took 45 minutes to overcome compatriot Toby Eyre 9-3, 9-5, 2-9, 10-8 to set up a first round encounter with New Zealand's sixth seed Louise Crome.
