It was
fourth time lucky for Italian squash star Davide
Bianchetti when he clinched the Mega Italia Open
title after beating Egypt's Omar Abdel Aziz in
the final of the PSA Tour event in his hometown
of Brescia.
Runner-up in 2000, 2002 and 2003, favourite Bianchetti
reached his fourth Mega final when he beat Kuwait's No3
seed Bader Al Hussaini in the semi-finals.
Sixth seed Omar Abdel Aziz upset two higher-ranked
players to reach the Brescia climax, his third PSA
final appearance in less than two months.
But the 22-year-old from Cairo was no match for the
hometown boy Bianchetti who won 11-7 11-6 11-5 in 40
minutes to claim the fifth PSA title of his career - but
the first on home soil.
