Charlton Seals Open International d'Angers Title

#PSAWorldTour

England's Eddie Charlton, the World No.52, won his first PSA World Tour title since 2012 after claiming the inaugural PSA Challenger 5 Open International d'Angers in France earlier today.

25-year-old Charlton came through in straight games against French number two seed Geoffrey Demont, taking just 38-minutes to seal the title in impressive fashion, recoding a 3-0, 11-3, 11-5, 11-7, victory to end his season on a high.

"I'm obviously really happy to win another tour title," said Charlton in the wake of his win.

"It's not been the season I'd hoped for but still I've got positives to take from it and I'm looking forward to getting started with summer training.

"It's a really nice way to finish my PSA season with a tournament win in Angers. The crowds have been big all week providing a great atmosphere and the tournament organisation has been brilliant."
