Princes Sports Club (formerly Brampton Manor in Chesterfield) member Ashley Davies won his second PSA $1000 tournament over the Easter weekend at the David Lloyd Club in Chorley, Manchester taking the COURTCARE sponsored Satellite event.

This  men's $1k event was put on as support to the WSA $10K women's tournament, organised by World and British Champion Laura Massaro, and brother Chris Lengthorn.

It was a sweet win for Ashley as the Chorley club is now his base after moving from Chesterfield. Whilst in Chesterfield Ashley enjoyed the support of the Derbyshire Insitute Of Sport since it's inception in April 2012. The DIS provided him with strength & conditioning as well as medical support using Princes Sports Club as a hub, Derby University being the other hub site. Athletes from various sports are lucky enough to be benefiting from this high quality support pushing the development of talented sports performers in Derbyshire.

Ashley also enjoyed a great home coming match representing the Princes Club in the semi final of the Derbyshire Cup. Along with team mates Alex Cutts, Phil Scully (captain), Brendan Hickerman & Matt Barton, they enjoyed a 5-0 win to take them into the final against Burton S. C. The Princes 2nd team will also be playing in the "B" final against Rolls Royce.
