Harrity Celebrates Tour Title Breakthrough

#PSAWorldTour

USA No.3
Todd Harrity made an impressive international squash breakthrough on home soil when he won his first PSA World Tour title at the Squash Revolution NY Pro Open in New York.

Seeded three, the 23-year-old Princeton graduate from Pennsylvania upset the seedings in the semi-finals of the
PSA Challenger 5 squash event when he despatched Australia's No.2 seed Zac Alexander in straight games.

But his final opponent
Ramit Tandon was also enjoying one of his best runs ever.  The wild card from India, a student at Columbia University, battled to a five-game win over top-seeded Canadian Shahier Razik in the other semi – thereby also celebrating the first Tour final appearance of his career.

But the title was to be Todd's.  Ranked 113 in the world, Harrity defeated 21-year-old Tandon – ranked 82 places lower - 11-6, 11-9, 11-9 to claim his maiden Tour trophy.
