Frost
Scores Second Swiss Success
Less
than a month after winning the Sekisui Open in Kriens,
Denmark's Kristian Frost Olesen returned to the Sportpark
Pilatus Kriens in Switzerland to successfully defend his Pilatus
Cup crown.
And
again it was compatriot Rasmus Nielsen that the 23-year-old from
Odense had to beat in the final of the PSA World Tour Challenger 5
squash event - winning 11-3, 11-7, 11-6 to win the sixth Tour title of
his career, and the fourth of the year.
"I'm a
very happy man!" said Olesen. "I had a very hard match with Lucas
(Serme) this morning which I managed to get through 3/0 and by doing so
I was fresh for the final.
"In
the first I played a great game. I hardly made any mistakes and yet I
hit some great shots. I'm proud of myself for winning two events almost
back to back!"
Second
seed Nielsen, also from Odense but six years his opponent's senior, was
not happy with his performance: "I probably played one of my worst
matches on the tour. I couldn't get the body going, and made many
unforced mistakes."
