Assured Schoor
Claims Kiev Crown
Jens Schoor
maintained his membership of the exclusive club of players who have never lost
in a PSA World Tour final when he clinched the inaugural Ukrainian
Squash Open at Sport Life in Kiev.
The second
seed from Germany reached his fourth Tour final when he beat England's fourth
seed Jonathan Harford in the semi-finals of the PSA Challenger 5
event in four games.
But despite
the fact that his final opponent Piedro Schweertman also survived a
four-game semi, the 23-year-old from Koblenz was able to keep the third-seeded
Dutchman at bay in straight games.
The 11-9,
11-4, 11-5 victory marks Schoor's second Tour title of the year - but the fourth
of his career!
