Nash Cup, London, Ontario, Canada Koukal Captures Nash Cup In Canada In a final which featured a qualifier for the third year in a row, top-seeded Czech Jan Koukal recovered from a game down to overcome Mexican outsider Alfredo Avila to win the 2010 Nash Cup, the $6,500 PSA World Tour squash event at London Squash Rackets Club in London, Ontario, in Canada. Qualifier Avila, a 19-year-old from Mexico City, made his breakthrough in the opening round with a straight games win over Australia's No2 seed Scott Arnold. Victories over Canadians Thomas Brinkman and Dane Sharp then took the Mexican teenager into his career-first appearance in a PSA Tour final. And Avila won the opening game against favourite Koukal before the world No61 from Prague took charge and closed out the match 10-12, 11-9, 11-8, 13-11 in 72 minutes.
