Tuominen Celebrates Triple Triumph In Mikkeli

Olli Tuominen celebrated a hat-trick of titles in the Savcor Finnish Open when he beat Henrik Mustonen in the first ever all-Finnish final of the $10,000 PSA World Tour squash event at Sport Forum in Mikkeli.

The 30-year-old top seed from Helsinki played the best squash of the whole week to overcome Mustonen, the 19-year-old fourth seed from Hollola.

Tuominen, a former world No13 now ranked 23 in the world, despatched his compatriot ranked 75 places lower 11-4, 11-3, 11-5 in just 26 minutes to claim the country’s premier squash title for the third year in a row.

The triumph takes Tuominen’s tally to nine PSA Tour titles since 1998.
