Khalifa Crowned Nimes Champion

Egyptian teenager Amr Khaled Khalifa won the Open du Gard title after beating local hope Fabien Verseille in the final of the Satellite PSA World Tour squash event at Squash Club des Arenes in Nimes, France.

The 17-year-old from Cairo, who reached the final after overcoming English qualifier Jonathan Harford in the semi-finals, dropped the first two games to sixth seed Verseille, from Aix-en-Provence.

But third seed Khalifa bounded back to take the next three to win 9-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-6 and secure the second Tour title of his career.
