Wagih Shoukry Wins Kenya Parklands Open

Egypt's Andrew Wagih Shoukry won his maiden PSA Tour squash title in some style at the Kengen Parklands Open in Kenya - beating the event's top two seeds en-route to lifting the $5,000 Satellite trophy at Parklands Sports Club in the country's capital city Nairobi.

The 17-year-old fifth seed from Cairo, in his first year on the Tour, made his breakthrough in the quarter-finals when he despatched England's No2 seed Lewis Walters 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 11-10 (4-2).

In the final, Shoukry faced favourite Eddie Charlton - and battled for five games to defeat his second English opponent 11-8, 10-11 (1-3), 11-6, 9-11, 11-6 in 55 minutes.
