Au & Adnan Junior Win NSC Satellite Titles
Malaysia's Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Hong Kong's Annie Au clinched the titles in the NSC Squash Satellite No1 after contrasting wins in today's (Sunday) finals of the inaugural Tour event at the NSC Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Second seed Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan was facing his older brother Nafzahizam Adnan, the fifth seed who ousted Hong Kong's No1 seed Wai Hang Wong in the quarter-finals.

It was the pair's third meeting on the PSA Tour, but their first in a final - and it was 20-year-old Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan who ultimately prevailed after 78 minutes, winning 10-11 (1-3), 11-9, 11-10 (3-1), 8-11, 11-6 to secure the first Tour title of his career.

The women's climax also saw first-time WISPA World Tour glory for Annie Au. The 18-year-old notched up her fourth successive international title - albeit her first WISPA - when she defeated Malaysia's top seed Delia Arnold 9-6, 9-3, 9-5 in 42 minutes.

It was in February that Au became the Asian Junior champion for the first time - success which she followed by winning the Welsh Junior Open title, then the Austrian Junior Open crown last month.

Cheng Yao Huang Records Historic Win In Malaysia
Cheng Yao Huang became the first player from Chinese Taipei to record a victory on the Professional Squash Association Tour when he upset sixth seed Roger Ngan in today's (Thursday) first round of the NSC Satellite No1 at the NSC Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 21-year-old qualifier, ranked 334 in the world, defeated his experienced Hong Kong opponent 11-10 (5-3), 11-7, 11-8 in 44 minutes. Cheng Yao Huang's opponent in the quarter-finals will also be a qualifier - Egypt's Wael Farag, who fought back from 2/1 down to beat Malaysia's No4 seed Shahril Shahidan 11-9, 9-11, 10-11 (2-4), 11-3, 11-6 in 53 minutes.

There was local delight in the women's event when Malaysian qualifier Raja Nurul Sarah, in her maiden appearance in a WISPA World Tour event, upset Ayten Kececi, the No7 seed from Turkey, 9-6, 9-1, 9-0 to earn a surprise last eight berth. Sarah's opponent will be third seed Annie Au, the Asian Junior Champion from Hong Kong, who despatched Malaysia's Nessrine Ariffin 9-2, 9-4, 9-4.
