Serme Celebrates
Belgian Junior Open Hat-Trick
France's Camille Serme
beat Lucie Fialova of the Czech Republic in the women's U19
final of the Belgian Junior Open Squash Championships to celebrate
her third successive title in the event in the Belgian capital Brussels.
The 17-year-old top seed
from Creteil reached the final without dropping a game, then despatched
second seed Fialova 9-5, 9-3, 9-1.
Serme, who opened the year
by winning the British Junior U17 Open crown in England, has now
gone on to collect five European Squash Federation Junior Circuit
titles, including the French, German, Dutch and Belgian Open
titles – as well as the European Junior trophy in April.
The Men's U19 title in
Brussels was claimed by third seed Nicolas Mueller. The
17-year-old from Winterthur in Switzerland toppled top seed Kristian
Frost Olesen in the final, beating the Dane 9-5, 9-7, 7-9, 9-1 to add
the Belgian crown to the Nordic Junior U19 Open title he won in
October.
