BOZZA'S BACK!

The depth in men's squash is currently at an all time high with matches from the 1st round onwards being a potential banana skin for the seeded players. Looking at the draw in Bermuda, it pulled out some potential mouth-watering 2nd round matches in Lincou v Shabana, White v Palmer & Ricketts v Willstrop, just to name a few.

These match-ups would be worthy finals in any event and just to prove my point, the first two were the last two World Open finals and the latter the 2004 Pakistan Open final!

Just to add to this, it looks like a comeback from former World Number 4 Stewart Boswell is on the horizon. Anyone who saw Stewart play will argue that he would probably have been challenging for the Number 1 spot by now had he not suffered the back problems that have been plaguing him for the past 18 months. As someone who has had back problems myself, albeit for a few months, I can't even begin to understand the frustration Bozza must have been suffering during that time.

Turning up for qualifying draws, as Stewart will again have to do, has never been the most enjoyable experience at the best of times, but imagine how it'll feel now for the other qualifying players when they know that the name S.Boswell is lurking somewhere at the bottom of that hat!
