REPORTS
Alison Waters bt Sarah-Jane Perry 11/6, 11/7, 12/10.

A closely fought battle between the top 2 seeds saw Alison take an early lead as she pressed high up the court giving SJ as little time to settle as possible. SJ looked to get back into the first game as she hit more winners to the front but Ali stayed patient and took the first game 11/16.

Alison got off to a fast start again in the second to lead 5/1 and 8/5 although SJ really made Alison work hard to win 11/7.

SJ then found more of a rhythm in the third and raced to a 9/3 lead but Alison didn’t panic and got back to 8/10 with both producing world class squash. Alison managed to keep hitting good length and never let SJ get a chance to take the third as Alison won the game and match 12/10.

Both played brilliantly and now head off to the Tournament of Champions in New York.
