Evans wins Squash Player’s Player of the Month
award

Evans has been named Squash Player’s Female Player of the Month for
December after reaching the semi-finals of the $50,000 Wadi Degla
Open in November.
As a result, the four-time Welsh champion, who also took a game off
world no.3 Nouran Gohar in the last four in Cairo, hit a career-high
of 21st in the December rankings.
The Cardiff-born 24-year-old commented: “Of course, it has to rank
pretty high, probably the highest! It was such a great week and I
really enjoyed it.
“I put my recent form down to some of the work that I have done over
the summer. I put a lot of work in that has made such a difference
to me.
“My next target is to break the top 20 in the rankings. It would be
great to do that and a massive achievement for me!”
