Superman Takes Flying Lessons

Paul Coll, the world no.5 from New Zealand, is our cover star in Squash Player's first issue of the year as we focus on the player best placed to crack Egypt's domination of the higher echelons of the professional game.

The player nicknamed 'Superman' speaks to Richard Eaton about the improvements in his game, while Rod Gilmour talks to Rob Owen, the English coach behind those improvements.

Our other main interview is with world no.7 and British champion Sarah-Jane Perry, who tells Mike Dale about her fine start to 2020.

We also announce the winning picture in our 2019 Photo of the Year competition, while Steve Line, who took it, reveals the secret behind his success to Eaton.

Furthermore, new WSF CEO William Louis-Marie talks about his plans to Ian McKenzie, who also reports on the WSF Men's World Team Championship and Canary Wharf Classic, and visits Squash On Fire, the venue for the Worlds in Washington DC.

All the regular sections are there as well, including Hall of Fame, History, On Court, Off Court and Workshop, where Derek Ryan and Gary Nisbet have some tips for keeping fit during squash's lockdown, while Phil Newton advises on when to replace a hip or knee.
