Yuen wins Squash Player’s Player of the Month award

Ivan Yuen has been named Squash Player’s Player of the Month for the
first time, after winning successive PSA Tour events for the first time
in his career in June.
The 27-year-old completed a New Zealand M10 double by claiming the New
Zealand International Classic in Palmerston North and the NZ Southern
Open in Invercargill.
“It comes down to all the hard work I've put in throughout the years,
and the determination and spirit of never giving up whenever I am down,”
said Yuen, who climbed to 64th in the world rankings as a result.
“I feel that I am slowly getting back to form, as this is actually my
first time winning two PSA tournaments back to back in a month
throughout my career.”
Yuen’s next target is returning to the world’s top 40 “as soon as
possible”, as well as targeting an Asian Games medal in Indonesia next
month.
