Makin Takes Arnold Homes Tring Open Title

Wales’ World No.43 Joel Makin claimed his biggest PSA World Tour title over the weekend when he defeated compatriot Peter Creed in the final of the Arnold Homes Tring Open.

Number two seed Makin did not drop a single game throughout the entire tournament as he stormed to the PSA M15 title, taking out World No.58 Creed by an 11-4, 11-5, 11-3 scoreline in 45 minutes as he claimed his third PSA World Tour title.

2018 ARNOLD HOMES TRING OPEN

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all the players and spectators to the 2018 Arnold Homes Tring Open. This is the 2nd running of the event and we hope we can build on the success of last year.

We are very excited to announce a fantastic lineup for this years event, featuring UK players Adrian Waller (WR 38), Joel Makin (WR 43), Peter Creed (WR 55) and George Parker (WR 56), joined by Egyptians Yousseff Soliman (WR 50) and Karim El Hammamy (WR 60).

The top six seeds will be joined by 20 more players, eight of whom are currently ranked in the PSA top 100. With four spots in the main draw available through qualifying, the 2018 Arnold Homes Tring Open will be hotly contested with guaranteed high quality squash on display from start to  finish.
