The ‘Champions League’ of squash will arrive in Paderborn, Germany, as
European’s elite squash clubs battle it out for the 30th European Squash
Club Championships supported by Lightpower. Fourteen nations, spread
across 13 Men’s and 9 Women’s, will cross rackets in a bid to be crowned
Champions of Europe.
Hosts and defending champions Paderborn SC have been involved in 17 of
the 30 championships, and will again be the team to beat in the Men’s
draw. However, they will face stiff opposition from UK Champions Colets
and French Champions Mulhouse. In the Women’s draw, it’s Mulhouse who
will start favourites but Paderborn will be looking to win a first
women’s title and if everything comes together complete a historic
double!
Having successfully hosted the 2005 edition and 2011 World Team
Championships, it comes as no surprise that fans of the sport have been
snapping up the tickets. The all glass court will have seating for 600
spectators, but these have been selling fast with a limited number
