  • How to get to the Albert Hall

Directions by Road
From M1 Junction 25 Take the A52 towards Nottingham
From M1 Junction 26 Take the A610 towards Nottingham

On reaching the one-way system (Canning Circus) take the right-hand lane down the hill (Wollaton Street) passing The Strathdon Hotel on the right. Bear right at the lights and proceed to the roundabout. Take the last turning off the roundabout and turn immediately left into North Circus Street. The Albert Hall is situated on the left hand side.

Directions by rail
Take the train to Nottingham railway station on the Midland Mainline, trains from London leave from St Pancras.

It is then a short walk (around 10-15 minutes) through Broad Marsh Shopping Centre, along Lister Gate, Wheeler Gate and Chapel Bar. From the end of Chapel Bar use pedestrian crossings over Parliament Street (a short way down on the right), City Gate and Derby Road (around the Island anti-clockwise). to reach The Albert Hall on North Circus Street.

Alternatively there are Taxis available from the Taxi rank at the station.

Directions by Air
The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport at Castle Donnington, situated near junction 24 of the M1. There are regular bus services between the airport and Nottingham and there are car hire facilities available, taking the M1 North to junction 25, you can then follow the Directions by Road above.

Car Parking
On-street parking is available on most of the roads surrounding the Albert Hall and a number of car parks are located within easy walking distance.

Advance car park tickets may be arranged on request. For larger events we can assist in co-ordinating low cost 'park and ride' facilities located on the outskirts of the city.

At M1 J25 take the A52 towards Nottingham. At the Queens Medical Centre, proceed over the Ring Road and follow A6200 (City Centre) for 1 mile. At the Walton’s Hotel, turn right into the Park Estate. Tattershall Drive is the second turning on the left. Proceed down Tattershall Drive, around Tennis Drive, back onto Tattershall Drive and the Club is 150 metres on the right.

Alternatively follow the brown tourist signs for Nottingham Castle and enter the Park Estate off Friar Lane passing the castle on your left. Proceed down Lenton Road and at the roundabout take the rightmost exit onto Tattershall Drive. The Club is opposite the next T-junction.

Please note that the Club is situated in a residential area and on-street parking is restricted. Please do not park on a blue line and whenever possible, please share cars. Coaches should only drop off and pick up at the Club and park in a designated City Centre Coach Park (at the Ice Stadium).
