Canada's Melanie Jans Burke claimed the inaugural Women's Calgary Open title, ending the unexpected run of Korean qualifier Lee Hi-Kyung.

Hi-Kyung, who had beaten the top and fourth seeds on her way to the final, started strongly, taking the first game, but the experienced Canadian recovered to take the next three games, claiming her first WISPA title on home soil.
