When you first join the professional circuit it's hard, you have to pay for your own travels, hotels, and you earn virtually no money.

I would say to anyone who wants to play a professional sport - don't give up, and keep plugging away.

You also need the help of family and friends. I dread to think about the time and effort my Mum and Dad have put into my squash, taking me all over the country and supporting me totally. Thank you.

So remember ... don't give up!
