BOSWELL OUT OF BRIT INSURANCE SUPER SERIES SQUASH FINALS

Australia’s Stewart Boswell has been forced to withdraw from next week’s Brit Insurance Super Series Squash Finals, due to take place at London’s Broadgate Arena from 12th – 16th May. The 24-year-old World No.5 from Waramanga is suffering from a recurrence of a back injury.

His place will be taken by Malaysia’s World No.10 Ong Beng Hee, who will be making his second Super Series Finals appearance.

Boswell is the second player to pull out of the tournament in under a week. Last Friday David Palmer, the Australian World No.2, announced he would be unable to defend his title after failing to recover full fitness following an emergency appendix operation.

One of the most prestigious events in world squash, The Brit Insurance Super Series Finals brings together the top eight qualifiers from the annual PSA Super Series Tour.

The draw for the 2003 event will be officially announced by tournament organisers tomorrow (9th May 2003) ...
