PSA Renews PR Agreement With Howard Harding

PSA Renews PR Agreement
With Howard Harding

The Professional Squash Association has confirmed a new one-year agreement with Howard Harding which will take the UK-based sports PR specialist into his 16th year as the PSA World Media Manager.

Harding has provided a worldwide media service for the PSA since 1996 - ensuring that news of the men's professional squash tour reaches media around the globe.

The PSA World Tour boasts over 450 members competing in more than 100 events across five continents.

"Since first embarking on this mission to promote the vibrant success of the PSA, its members and its Tour - in numerous cases acting as on-site press officer for its flagship championships in all parts of the world - I have built up a significant network of global media contacts for the sport," said Harding.

"I am as delighted as I was more than a decade ago to be able to continue the fight to present Squash's case to the media in an ever-more competitive landscape.

"As the PSA extends its media activity through increased commitment to TV and webstreaming, I look forward to playing my part in raising the international profile of the sport."

PSA CEO Alex Gough added: "Howard's long-standing relationship with the Professional Squash Association, and indeed the whole sport, has meant he has a knowledge base second to none and is perfectly placed to maximise our media releases and direction.

"With the imminent advent of www.psaworldtour.com we will be able to make full use of Howard's squash expertise and create an excellent new vehicle for communicating news from the PSA World Tour."

Harding also acts in a parallel PR capacity for the World Squash Federation (WSF) and the Women's International Squash Players' Association (WISPA).
